Year 12 Excursion to Donald High School

Year 12 Chemistry is being delivered by video conference to students from Boort and Donald. The class met at Donald High School on Wednesday to carry out a prac they had designed as part of their studies.

Inter-school Swimming Sports Day

Year 3/4 Class

Over the past few weeks, the P-4s have been learning about Water Safety as part of our Swimming Program. The Year 3/4s worked in pairs to create Water Safety posters, which included a scenario about children not being safe around water, and then the water safety rules they should have followed. We have learnt lots of ways to be safe around water, such as ‘always check the depth’ and ‘always swim with an adult’! – Sarah Windridge

P-12 Swimming Carnival

A great time was had by students and staff, parent and members of the community, on Friday at the P-12 Swimming Carnival. A big congratulations all students that participated and to Evans the winning house, to the age champions and to the tireless work of our organisers. Don’t our Year 12’s look amazing!

Year 9 Multicultural Food Class

Last week in our Multicultural Foods class, students demonstrated fantastic skills to make an Australian favourite, Pavlova. The students used egg whites which had been frozen from the previous week’s prac (Portuguese Custard Tarts). Everybody created fantastic Pavlovas.

In the past few weeks students have demonstrated their skills in using the oven. We have made Sausage Rolls, Baked Potatoes and Chocolate Raspberry Muffins
