Recently, the Year 9 Humanities class has been learning about how the electoral system works. They created their own political parties, along with policies and preference deals. We then held an election.

You will all be pleased to know that the winner of the election was from the Turtle Party. They won on a platform based on conservation of turtle habitats and limiting of tourism to such areas. They also campaigned to enforce community service for some convicted criminals to decrease the amount of pollution in the oceans.
